Do you know what is erythropoietin?

Don't you know that our body produces glycoprotein hormone called erythropoietin.. ?Nice name huh??[buleh buat name anak nie..hehehe....] also known as EPO. This hormone is produced by specialized kidney cell and very sensitive to low oxygen level in our blood. If oxygen (O2)level is low, the cell will release EPO and EPO will stimulate the bone marrow to produce more red cell. When more red cells are produced the O2 carrying capacity will increase in our blood.

11:14 am, I received a phone call from my supervisor. hmmm...why is she calling me??makes me wonder...we suppose to have meeting this evening at 3pm...Maybe she want to change the time. I made my own assumption. "Suria, you're suppose to present your first stage evaluation at 11am this morning..." I can hear her loud and serious tone telling me a big surprise.."What..??pagi nie??" I almost shouted...And again with serious tone she said,"Don't you know they are already change the schedule??Your presentation is no longer on 28 august..it is today 26 august". Ohhh my God... and at that time it was 20minutes past 11am..

My supervisor kept talking about how the kakak post grad registrar complaining about my absence, not giving her my phone number and blablabla.....Does everybody gives their hp number to that kakak??Or should I said "kak, nie no hp saya...simpan la yer..." when I submit my proposal.Ohh lala...i went pass thru that notice board yesterday, but never think the schedule will be changed..

While listening to her call, I grabbed my baju kurung..ready to put it on before i heard my supervisor say"Suria, acah jela..." then she laughed out loud...My mouth can't stand to make a big O..acah je???huuuuuuuuuuhh...so relieved..but the change in the schedule was real..and it also real that i suppose to present today at 11am..one of the panel request for change.However the information didn't reach to us, neither me or my supervisor..Thus, my supervisor decided to cancel the presentation today

What a big shock today...!!Without hesitation i rushed into postgrad registrar office 5minutes after the phone call. Due to some misunderstanding & miscommunication today, I missed my 'suppose' first stage evaluation. Luckily, when I met that kakak and asked if the panel was waiting for me she just said,"Panel pun tak datang...diorang ingt2 lupa.."hmmmm..deep inside my heart I smiled and said..."tue la..tukar lg last minute...panel pun akak nie inform last minute..memg la diorg ingt2 lupa...pastue ada hati lak nk bising kat aku"

So, moral of the story:
1. Always check the notice board [everyday tau..twice a day]
2. Always prepare & ready for unexpected news
3. Don't forget to give hp no to akak pjbt...[to avoid miscommunication...hehhehehe]
