I'm telling this to myself today:

|MovieReview| Princess & the frog (2009)

Cartoon only for kids?? Ohh..no way!! I love love animated & musical cartoon especially produced by Walt Disney. Dengan gegehnya pergi tengok Princess & the Frog bersama cik CT Mars di MBO. Sanggup tue beratur panjang-panjang.Kalau ajak EN ATB tengok cerita nie mesti dia tak mau pergi. Tak minat katanya.......

Princess & the frog is different from usual/typical prince-princess story. In this story, the heroin Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) - the first African-American princess in Disney is not just a typical soft, kind & suffered princess, but she is very determine to fulfill her dream of opening restaurant (not just waiting for love & handsome prince to come & save her).

Naveen (Bruno Campos) the prince is a so-not-gentleman, fun-loving, good for nothing but music and being fooled by the voodoo witch doctor, Dr Faciler. He then was turned into a frog while his servant Lawrence (Peter Bartlett) impersonates him as part of Facilier's plot to take over the city.

Assuming that a kiss from a princess would break the spell, Prince Naveen the frog asks Tiana who dresses in princess gown for help.Unfortunately, it did not work!! ...and Tiana turns into a frog too. Thus, they both have to travel to find Mama Odie to help them  to reverse the spell. On their way to find Mama Odie they meet Louis the fun-loving aligator who can play trumpet and Ray the firefly.

The frog prince asks Princess Tiana to break the spell by kissing him  
(kissing a frog?? eeyuwwww)
Look..he is a real player, never stop flirting even when he turned green
& ask for just one kiss
he said '........unless you beg for more.'

Tiana used to say that he will never kiss a frog...but...

(sometimes we did something we say we'll never do, right??) 

 Nothing happened to Naveen the frog

Unfortunate for Tiana, she has turned into a FROG...
